HOW TO USE THE LUMAMASK™
10 minutes a day. Here's everything you need to know.
BEFORE YOUR FIRST USE
Perform a light sensitivity test. Place the LumaMask on your forearm, turn it on and run a 10-minute session. If you experience redness, itching or irritation, you may have photosensitive skin. Stop use and consult a dermatologist before continuing.
STEP 1 — PREPARE YOUR SKIN Cleanse your face thoroughly and pat dry. Remove all makeup and skincare products before use. Do not apply products containing photosensitive ingredients on the same day as your session.
STEP 2 — PUT ON YOUR GOGGLES Place the silicone safety goggles over your eyes before putting on the mask. Keep your eyes closed during treatment.
STEP 3 — PUT ON THE MASK Place the LumaMask over your face and adjust the head strap for a secure, comfortable fit. Connect the controller cord to the mask.
STEP 4 — POWER ON Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds until the device turns on and the light activates.
STEP 5 — SELECT YOUR MODE Press the power button to cycle between modes:
Mode 1 — Anti-Ageing (630nm + 850nm + 1072nm) FDA Cleared for the treatment of full-face wrinkles. Deep red, near-infrared and deep near-infrared working together to firm, smooth and renew.
Mode 2 — Clearing (415nm + 850nm + 1072nm) FDA Cleared for the treatment of mild to moderate inflammatory acne. Blue light targets bacteria at the source while near-infrared supports skin repair.
STEP 6 — ADJUST BRIGHTNESS Press the brightness button to cycle between three energy levels — 50%, 75% and 100%. Start at 50% for your first few sessions and increase as your skin adjusts.
STEP 7 — OPTIONAL PULSE MODE Press the pulse button in any mode to activate the 10Hz pulse function — delivering light in therapeutic pulses for enhanced cellular absorption.
STEP 8 — YOUR SESSION The device runs automatically for 10 minutes and switches off. You may feel a gentle warmth during treatment — this is completely normal. If you experience any burning or discomfort, stop immediately.
STEP 9 — AFTER YOUR SESSION Some mild redness may appear after treatment — this is a normal skin response and will subside within 1 to 2 hours. Apply your usual skincare routine after your session.
HOW OFTEN TO USE For best results use daily for the first 8 weeks. After that, 3 to 5 sessions per week is sufficient to maintain and continue improving your skin. Each session is 10 minutes — the device times out automatically.
CHARGING YOUR LUMAMASK Charge using the included USB-C cable. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours. The 4000mAh built-in battery is designed for multiple sessions per charge.
CARING FOR YOUR LUMAMASK Wipe the silicone surface clean after each use with a soft dry cloth. Do not immerse in water or rinse under a tap. Store in the included travel bag when not in use.
WHO SHOULD NOT USE THE LUMAMASK
- Pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive
- Taking photosensitising medication
- Diagnosed with lupus erythematosus, photosensitive eczema or albinism
- Children or infants

THE FOUR WAVELENGTHS
415nm Blue — Targets acne-causing bacteria. Reduces active breakouts and post-acne inflammation without chemicals or skin irritation.
590nm Yellow — Brightens skin tone and breaks down pigmentation. Reduces redness and uneven texture for a clearer complexion.
660nm Red — Primary anti-ageing wavelength. Stimulates collagen production, firms skin, and improves elasticity at 2–3mm skin depth.
850nm Near-Infrared — Invisible to the eye. Improves circulation, reduces inflammation, and enhances the depth of red light results from within.

Mode 01 — Repair · 660nm red only Stimulates collagen production and firms skin. The foundational anti-ageing mode. Use daily for improved elasticity over 4–8 weeks.
Mode 02 — Radiance · 590nm + 660nm Brightens tone and breaks down pigmentation. For uneven skin, sun damage, and dullness. Use 3–4 times per week.
Mode 03 — Anti-Ageing · 660nm + 850nm Red light rebuilds collagen at the surface while near-infrared works deeper to improve circulation and reduce visible signs of ageing from within.
Mode 04 — Deep Renewal · 590nm + 660nm + 850nm Full three-wavelength treatment simultaneously. Accelerates cellular metabolism, refines texture, and addresses pigmentation at multiple skin depths.
Mode 05 — Clear Skin · 415nm blue only Targets the bacteria responsible for breakouts. Reduces active acne, calms inflammation, and minimises scarring without skin disruption.
Mode 06 — Overnight Ritual · 415nm + 590nm + 660nm + 850nm All four wavelengths working together. The complete pre-sleep protocol — promotes collagen, reduces stress markers, and prepares your skin for overnight recovery.
