Most LED devices are assembled and shipped. Every LumaMask is assembled, tested and validated. Here's exactly what that involves.

There's a difference between a device that claims medical-grade quality and one that proves it. At Alevra, every product goes through a five-stage validation process before it leaves the facility, not as a preparation for audit, but as part of daily manufacturing operations.

TEST 1 — WAVELENGTH ACCURACY Integrating Sphere Spectral Analysis

The most important thing about an LED therapy device is that it emits the exact wavelength it claims to. A device labelled 630nm that actually emits 650nm is not delivering the therapy you paid for.

Every batch of LumaMasks is tested using an integrating sphere, a precision spectral analysis system that verifies each emitted wavelength is accurate within ±5nm tolerance. We never rely solely on LED manufacturer datasheets. We test every batch, every time.

This eliminates wavelength uncertainty entirely. What the label says is what your skin receives.

TEST 2 — CLIMATE RESILIENCE Extreme Environment Simulation

Your skincare device needs to perform consistently wherever life takes you, not just under ideal laboratory conditions.

Every LumaMask is climate tested across a range of -20°C to +60°C at 95% relative humidity. From cold Nordic winters to humid Southeast Asian climates, internal components are validated to remain fully protected and fully functional.

TEST 3 — STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY Drop Testing

Accidents happen. A device that stops working after one drop is not a premium device.

Every product is drop tested from 1.2 metres at 6 different angles onto a marble floor. The housing must remain intact and all internal circuits must stay connected. This test directly protects your investment and minimises the risk of device failure from real-world use.

TEST 4 — CORROSION RESISTANCE Salt Spray Testing

A face mask is used against skin that sweats, produces oils and comes into contact with skincare products daily. Standard electronics are not designed for this environment.

Every mask undergoes continuous salt fog exposure for 24 to 48 hours, specifically simulating the effects of facial sweat and cosmetic residue on charging pins and metal components. This prevents oxidation and poor contact over time, significantly extending the device's lifespan.

TEST 5 — BATTERY RELIABILITY Cycle Life Testing

A built-in battery that degrades quickly is not a feature, it's a liability.

The built in battery product are tested to maintain over 80% of its original capacity after 500 full charge cycles. That's more than a year of daily sessions. Your device on day 365 performs like your device on day one.
